About the Quest

In early 1999, Trilobyte Inc., the company that produced classic games such as The 7th Guest, The 11th Hour, POV, and Clandestiny shuttered its doors.  It was the end of an era.  As a fan of the games, I've read through histories of the company, befriended Rob Landeros, and am even part of the team behind The 13th Doll, a fan game of The 7th Guest.  However, a question has been looming in my mind for some years now.  What happened to all the original video footage used for the games?

What if the original production tapes and audio recordings still existed from The 7th Guest and The 11th Hour?  How amazing would it be to see the out-takes, deleted scenes, and other behind the scenes shenanigans from those days?  What could be done with that footage if it was found?

I asked Rob Landeros, co-founder of the original Trilobyte Inc. and CEO of Trilobyte LLC if I could undergo a quest to find the lost T7G and T11H footage.  He gave me permission and thus started The Quest for The 7th Guest.  This blog documents my journey.
